Sweet Cottage Inspired Girls Room

I can finally say I HAVE COMPLETED Aspen's room. It's been a long time coming, I've worked on it slowly over the last three years, trying multiple things and not liking them and redoing them. What finally set the tone for the room and helped give it the feel I wanted was the Love vs. Design peel and stick wallpaper.

All of their wallpaper is fully customizeable. You can pick the colors of ANY wallpaper and change them on their website. I went through a couple of iterations ordering different sample colors. Once I finally settled on the colors I ordered the paper and it came very quick! I debated on hiring a professional to install the wallpaper but decided I'd attempt to do it myself. I am NOT a DIYer but am happy to report this was a great project for a novice!

Her room consists of so many sweet items and she will be able to grow with this room. Her dresser was a vintage find that was a shade lighter in her nursery. I recently repainted it to still be pink and girly but a more grown up color. I knew I wanted a touch of whimsy in her room, she's only going to be a little girl for a very short time and I wanted to make sure that there were things in her room to encourage play. The play tent has been such a fun thing for her and Cooper to play with as well as the doll house and her beloved stuffed animals. On one side of her bed is a cute little desk I found on FB market place.

I made a couple of items in the room, like the pleated lamp shade and the gingham pin board in the closet. I also extended her curtains as I found ones I really liked but they weren't the length I needed so I bought an extra panel and added to the bottom!

Right as you enter the room theres a wall of vintage florals that I've collected and my mom and grandma have helped me find.

I am very proud of this room and its my favorite room in the house! The best part? Aspen loves it just as much as i do!

Now's the fun part, scroll through all the pretty pictures!

I hope you enjoyed that little tour of her room. I've linked everything I'm able to below!
