Jillian Harris Knock Off Bedroom

I've been crushing WAYYY hard on Jillian Harris Master Bedroom ever since she revealed it. I'm totally in love with every. single. detail. I saw the picture and I just knew I was going to purchase ALL OF IT. Until I saw the price tag. I've searched high and low for the most cost effective "knock-off" bedroom because I really couldn't justify all new expensive bedroom furniture when mine was only a few years old. Not to mention I don't think I own ANYTHING in my house over $1,300 probably and that's pushing it. Maybe with tax and delivery.

You can find all the sources for this bedroom on Jillians Blog Here here.

Let's talk colors and beds real quick. I'm in love with the bed. The color, the size, the depth of the tufts, the curvature of the wings, etc. I knew I couldn't do a pink bed unless I found one very economical. I couldn't find one. But I still loved the pink and wanted to incorporate it into my room. So, I've purchased pink ruffle sheets, which are already on the bed and I love. The Sheets are on super sale too.

Then I searched for the perfect bed. I wanted something the same size and shape as Jillians, but in white. I haven't found it yet but think I am going to go for this Beige one. It's a great price so if I decide in a few years I don't like it, I won't feel THAT bad. The only reason I'm hesitant is the beige. You can find the bed Here. The bed in the mood board (it was easier to delete the background and I'm lazy like that) can be found here.

I think the next key to the bedroom was the nightstands. They are seriously the second most perfect thing I've ever seen. I'm too cheap for them, I did find some ones cheaper on Wayfair than the cross design that can be found Here. I haven't ordered nightstands yet. I was actually thinking of going with the Hemnes from Ikea and changing out the hardware as a very inexpensive means of getting white nightstands but they aren't in stock at the KC Ikea yet. If not I'll most likely go with the ones in the mood board that can be found here.

For bedding, I've decided on the Pottery Barn ruffled Duvet Cover, the pink Sheet, and a downcomforter from Downlite Bedding. I also really love the belgian linen Quilts from pottery barn and may purchase one eventually.

I had the Rug from a purchase I made over the summer and can't wait to add that extra sense of luxery to the room.

As far as lighting goes, I'm pretty convinced I need a ceiling fan in the bedroom so I probably won't go with a chandelier. But If I was getting one I'd get this one from World Market.

I actually had lamps pretty similar to the ones in her bedroom that I picked up at Home Goods a few years ago. Target has a very similar one Here. I wanted new lamps really bad so I got these ones and really like them.
And last but not least I'm on the hunt for the perfect artwork for the room and love this print from Minted.

I'm slowly but surely transforming my room and once it's finished I'll share how it turned out!
